Upload Via FTP
FTP (File Transfer Protocol), allows a person to transfer files between two computers, generally connected via the Internet. All you need to do this is an FTP client which executes all the commands in a drag-and-drop interface. This way you will be able to move all of your files for your site directly on to our server.
A few free FTP clients are listed below:
*Note on Tutorial* This tutorial will use FileZilla though the steps will likely be similar using other FTP clients.
FTP Tutorial
- The FTP address is entered under the 'Host' field. The server address should be entered as <user>.users.warpdriveonline.com.
- The username is <user>@warpdriveonline.com.
- The password is the same as your current webmail password.
- Click 'Quick Connect'.
- Now you will see 4 screens. The left half represent your local machine and the right half is the destination server.
- Select the directory that contains the files you want to upload in the top left screen.
- Select the files you want to upload in the lower left screen.
- Select the directory in the destination server from the right screen.
- Drag the files into that directory.
